September 28, 2015

Elkhart, Ind. —Lippert Components, Inc. (LCI) announces that Shannon Angle has been named General Manager of the new Lippert Interiors Marine Division after the Company acquired the business of Signature Seating. Building off of more than 15 years of furniture manufacturing experience, Angle will work to grow this new division and develop innovative furniture solutions for fresh water boats.

“Shannon has a successful record of working closely with customers to develop versatile furniture solutions for the mobile lifestyle,” said Ryan Smith, Vice President of Lippert Interiors. “He brings a fresh perspective to the marine furniture industry and will work to make sure our manufacturing teams are ready to meet demand ahead of Company growth.”

A longtime Indiana resident and Ball State University graduate, Angle has extensive experience in RV furniture design and manufacturing, as well as quality and lean process programs. Angle will work closely with existing customers to develop new marine furniture solutions and to grow LCI’s marine furniture business. Angle is also in the process of expanding the Lippert Interiors Marine Division team, based in Fort Wayne, to support expected growth and increase focus on customer satisfaction.

“The existing Signature Seating team was already successfully manufacturing top-quality boat furniture, and Shannon will guide and grow this team to the next level,” added Smith. “His long-time leadership experience, manufacturing expertise and commitment to developing innovative products make him a natural fit for the position and will allow us to develop and deliver even more versatile, compact and comfortable furniture to customers.”

Angle expressed excitement about this opportunity to help LCI grow its new Lippert Interiors Marine Division. “There’s significant potential to grow our marine furniture business, and we’re ready to build on a solid foundation of boat and RV furniture knowledge and expertise.” said Angle. “Uniting and growing our furniture teams will help us better assess the needs of our customers and deliver even more innovative furniture solutions.”
