Hige and Woloszyk to Lead Lippert Components Electronics Group

August 18, 2015
Elkhart, Ind. —Lippert Components, Inc. (LCI®) announced today that it has organized a team dedicated specifically to the development and sale of the Company’s electronics components, and has named Chris Hige as Director of Sales and Mark Woloszyk as General Manager of the LCI Electronics team.
“We are uniquely positioned to provide complete, competitive and custom solutions because we know the RV industry so well,” explained Rob Ford, LCI Vice President of Electronics. “We are working directly with our existing customers to develop innovative electronic systems that fit both the needs of the manufacturer in terms of custom product integration, and the needs of consumers in terms of reliability and convenient operation. Chris Hige will be instrumental in helping us identify opportunities to develop a customized digital experience, including applications for smart devices.”
A graduate of Wayne State University, Hige has more than 22 years of technical
electronic and sales management experience and joined the LCI team early last year when the Company acquired Innovative Design Solutions (IDS). Hige works closely with the LCI Engineering and R&D teams as well as OEM customers to develop electronic systems to enhance the RV experience. Hige’s sales team includes Zach Inbody and Kyle Pazzi, both of whom joined the team as part of the IDS acquisition.
LCI Electronics technology is central to the control of several RV components, including electronic leveling systems, jacks, lights, slide-out mechanisms, awnings, tire pressure monitoring systems and more. One of its newer products, the myRV universal control and monitor system, allows users to remotely control many RV systems, including awnings, lights, slide-out rooms and bed lifts; and monitor inside temperature, tire pressure, battery levels and more, all from an easy-to-use, touch-screen tablet.
LCI added many electronics product professionals in customer service, sales,
manufacturing and engineering when it acquired IDS, including Woloszyk, who has been named General Manager of LCI Electronics operations in Sterling Heights, MI. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Woloszyk has more than 18 years of engineering, manufacturing and product planning experience at IDS and will oversee daily operations and focus on making processes more efficient through continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
“Mark has a broad range of experience across all major aspects of our business, which made him a natural fit for the General Manager position,” said Ford. “Mark will focus on improving processes and making the facility even more efficient to support the rapid growth and expansion we are experiencing.”
