Lippert Components Builds Dedicated Marine Sales Team and Showcases Boat Furniture and Electronics at the 2015 Ibex Show

ELKHART, Ind. — Lippert Components, Inc. (LCI), a leading supplier of RV components, announced today that after entering a six-year distribution agreement with Furrion® in July 2015 and acquiring the marine furniture business of Signature Seating in August 2015, LCI has organized a team dedicated specifically to the sale of furniture, electronics and other products to boat manufacturers and the marine aftermarket. LCI has hired Michele J. Goldsmith to lead that team and entered a national sales representation agreement for the marine aftermarket with Derema Group, a marine industry-focused national manufacturer’s representative firm.
“We are bringing the same passion and commitment we have for the RV market into the marine industry with dedicated sales, operations and technical support,” said LCI Director of Aftermarket Sales Rick Worstell. “Michele is a longtime leader in the marine industry and will help us build a strong and experienced team that combines veteran Lippert Interiors and Electronics professionals and marine aftermarket representation from the Derema Group.”
With more than 20 years in the marine industry, Goldsmith has held positions as a Manufacturing Operations Manager, National Sales Manager and Global Marketing Director for prominent marine components brands. Accessory Manufacturer Division Chairwoman also sits on the NMMA Board of Directors, Grow Boating Initiative Board of Directors and American Boat & Yacht Council Technical Board of Directors. Goldsmith will work closely with the LCI Marketing and Aftermarket teams to develop sales and marketing support programs for OEM and aftermarket customers, as well as oversee Derema Group national sales representatives.

Derema Group will represent LCI furniture and Furrion electronics to the marine aftermarket in the continental United States under the direction of Goldsmith starting at the 2015 International Boatbuilders Exhibition & Conference (IBEX) September 15-17. Manufacturers can meet with LCI’s marine sales team regarding furniture at booth 1916 and Furrion electronics at booth 2708.
