Lippert Components Promotes Austin Adams to Oversee E Coating Sales for Emerging Markets

Elkhart, Ind. — Lippert Components, Inc. (LCI®) announces today that Austin Adams has been promoted to Sales Manager, overseeing LCI’s e-coating sales. Primarily, Adams will promote LCI’s e-coating capabilities to emerging markets including military, heavy industrial, marine, construction, and building products.
Adams has been with LCI for two years and has accumulated knowledge of LCI’s broad range of coating operations.
Over the last few years, LCI has converted a 244,000-square-foot facility that housed chassis manufacturing operations and coating operations, to a facility that is solely focused on e-coating. The goal of this conversion was to be able to better service the e-coating industry.
“Austin’s passion has always been coating operations. When we shifted the facility’s focus to e-coating operations, he was eager to get involved,” commented Joe Thompson, General Manager of LCI Plant 72. “His passion and excitement for the product and his overall energy make him a great person to lead the sales charge for e-coatings.”
At 50 feet long, the e-coating tanks at LCI Plant 72 have the largest available e-coat capacity in the U.S. With additional capabilities in powder coating, CARC (Chemical Agent Resistant Coating), as well as weld and fabrication capabilities, Plant 72 is poised to be the solution for the coating needs of many industries.
