Lippert Partners with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to Provide Beds to Children in Need

Elkhart, Ind. ─ Lippert Components, Inc. (Lippert™), a supplier of a broad array of highly engineered components for the leading original equipment manufacturers (“OEMs”) in the recreation and transportation product markets and the related aftermarkets of those industries, recently joined forces with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an organization dedicated to providing beds to children in need, to host a community Bed Build at Lippert’s Tinley Park, IL, distribution center.
On May 6th, nearly 100 Lippert team members, friends, family and community members took part in a community Bed Build event organized in conjunction with the Sleep in Heavenly Peace Oak Forest, IL, chapter. The six-hour event saw volunteers of all skill levels come together to build and assemble close to 40 bunk beds that were then delivered to children in crisis throughout the southern Chicago suburbs. To further the Sleep in Heavenly Peace motto “No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town®”, Lippert also donated 50 of its Somnum® COMFORTfoamz mattresses to the cause.
