Plant 19 plays dodgeball with Boys & Girls Club of GoshenSeveral employees and their families from Plant 19 recently volunteered their time to participate in a dodgeball event with the Boys & Girls Club of Goshen. Club kids and staff spent an hour playing dodgeball with Plant 19 volunteers to support youth enrichment in the Goshen community.
American Cancer Society FundraiserPlant 58’s Brian Hinegardner was recently raising money for the American Cancer Society through his Relay for Life team when he bet Plant 58 co-workers that if they helped raise $1,000 or more, Brian would dye his hair hot pink to support breast cancer awareness. With the help of a special visiting customer, Plant 58 raised more than $1,500 for the American Cancer Society. Brian’s hair has never looked better.
Jack Bond memorial rock revealOn October 14th, Plant 19 held a ceremony to honor long time LCI employee Jack Bond. A Memorial Rock reading: “In Memory of Gary “Jack” Bond, Job well done, 2004-2015,” was revealed to commemorate Jack’s legacy. About 50 LCI employees and Jack's family gathered in front of Plant 19 for the memorial ceremony. Matt Moreland, GM of Plant 19, spoke about Jack and how he embodied each of our core values, and Beth and Dillon Bond unveiled the rock.
Extreme Custom Trailers donates to local high schoolAfter a local high school's band trailer was stolen, Plant 29 in Rialto, California decided to help out in a big way. Extreme Custom Trailers donated a brand new trailer to the school. The band at Schurr High School can now continue to attend parades and competitions with their new trailer.
