Lippert Hosts Lights of Joy Event for Team Members and Families

Elkhart, Ind. — Lippert Components, Inc. (Lippert™), a supplier of a broad array of highly engineered components for the leading original equipment manufacturers (“OEMs”) in the recreation and transportation product markets, and the related aftermarkets of those industries, gathered in holiday celebration at Shipshewana’s Lights of Joy with a company hosted event for team members and their families.
The holiday season is a time best spent enjoying the company of friends and family. On Thursday, December 8th, Lippert welcomed more than 5,000 team members and their families to rejoice in a symphony of colorful light scenes at Shipshewana’s Lights of Joy, a mile and a half long light display featuring more than two million colorful bulbs synchronized to classic holiday music.
What is normally a drive-through experience, transformed into a spirited walk by Lippert team members, with children’s activities, hot cocoa, and character meet-and-greets scattered throughout. Free for Lippert team members and families, the event provided a safe, family-friendly holiday experience aimed at showing appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the Lippert team, in line with the company’s culture of caring for people.
“Having the opportunity to see Lippert partner with Shipshewana Lights of Joy was such an amazing experience,” said Michilah Grimes, Director of Corporate and Community Impact at Lippert. “Christmas is such a magical time of year to begin with, but seeing kids’ faces light up at the site of a Reindeer, Santa Claus, and Christmas lights was unforgettable.”
