Amber Selking, PhD
Amber serves as the Vice President of Leadership & Culture Development for Lippert, where she and her teams work to improve team members’ performance both personally and professionally. She drives the strategy and execution of Lippert’s culture of engagement by aligning the company’s work around igniting team members’ heads, heart, and hands, and by leading them toward a deeper sense of purpose, a strong passion, and high performance.
As a former soccer player at the University of Notre Dame, where she graduated with a Management Consulting degree, Amber started her career in human resources with a global manufacturing company. After recognizing a similar dynamic in business as she experienced in sports, she returned to graduate school to better understand the art and science of human high performance. She received a master’s degree in sport & performance psychology from the University of Denver, and her PhD from the University of Missouri in applied sport psychology.Before coming to Lippert, Amber founded the Selking Performance Group. Their mission is to help individuals, sports teams, and business organizations unleash performance excellence by tapping into the power of Mindset and Leadership. She speaks to organizations across the country and serves as the mental performance consultant to Head Coach Brian Kelly and the Notre Dame Football team. She has also served as an adjunct professor in the business school at Notre Dame.
Combined, her expertise is in optimizing human performance by teaching people about how their brain works, providing strategies to build mindsets that facilitate success, and partnering with leaders to build people systems that are most conducive to high performance.
Amber grew up raising livestock in a small town in northeastern Pennsylvania and now lives in South Bend, Indiana with her husband, Aaron, and their Doberman Pinscher, Rockne. She serves on the board of LifeWorks Ministries, a local nonprofit committed to pouring into college students’ lives and helping them better understand their identity and purpose.
Bill is responsible for engaging and developing individuals and teams in impact leadership roles at the executive, divisional, and plant levels. He provides both assessment/evaluation, and accountability of key leaders and teams for developmental growth.
Bill joined Lippert with more than 35 years of Strategic, Operational, Management, and Leadership experience. Prior to joining Lippert, he was the Vice President of Operations at Mossberg & Company Inc., focusing on all aspects of operations. As the Director of Marketing and Fulfillment Services, he attended Georgia Tech’s Supply Chain and Logistics Institute. Bill has focused his efforts towards enhancing productivity levels and increasing revenue channels. Additionally, Bill worked with United Airlines in their Corporate and Regional offices for more than 27 years. During his tenure with United Airlines, he supported and directed organizations in aircraft maintenance, customer service, reservations, and new product development.
Bill completed the Mendoza Leadership Program at the University of Notre Dame. He is an active member in his parish and serves on two nonprofit boards, including Chairman of the Board for Walnut Hill and St. Joe CEO Program. Bill and his wife of 33 years live in northern Indiana and have five children.
Dale has served as a Leadership Development Director for Lippert’s CURT organization since joining the team in 2021. He has over 20 years of experience as an adult educator with a passion for leadership development. He has led training, workforce development, and leadership development teams for diverse organizations including Cray Research, Micron Technology, Lowe’s, and Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations. Even as he continues his own leadership journey, he loves to encourage, inspire, and equip other influencers and leaders.
Dale is an avid reader and student of leadership. He serves and supports multiple international NGOs with a focus on human trafficking prevention through education funding and microloans. He holds degrees in avionics systems technology, vocational, technical, and adult education, and executive leadership. Dale and his wife Sheila have two daughters and four grandchildren.
Edgar serves as a Leadership Development Director for Lippert, spending most of his time with senior level leaders at multiple plants. He has witnessed a cultural transformation led by coachable, passionate leaders since joining the team, and brings over 25 years of leadership development experience to Lippert. Leading through change has been ‘normal’ in each of his professional roles. As the senior leader of an innovative, multi-cultural community in South Bend, Indiana, he helped shape a faith culture that blended people from a variety of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. He has also helped develop several church start-ups focusing on key-leader development.
Edgar is a zealous reader, podcast junkie and student of leadership. He served as president of the Crossing Education Center in South Bend for four years and was most recently the Executive Director of The Oaks at Southpaw, a conferencing center serving the nonprofit sector. He and his wife Cynthia have four sons and three grandchildren. They’ve travelled throughout Europe and hiked the hills and mountains of Israel, South Africa, Arizona and the Pacific Northwest. While Edgar holds a degree in communications from Indiana University, they are avid Notre Dame Football fans.
Jen serves as a Director of Leadership Development where she empowers, motivates, and coaches leaders to be the best version of themselves. She works alongside hundreds of leaders, driving accountability and helping others grow both personally and professionally. Jen fundamentally believes that business can be a force for good and is honored to support such talented and dedicated leaders while serving our community.
Jen graduated with honors from Purdue University with a double major in Psychology and Sociology and a minor in Organizational Business and Supervision. Before coming to Lippert, she spent the last 20 years at a healthcare consulting firm, last serving as the Vice President of their Employee and Physician Engagement business unit. During that time, she fell in love with leadership, project and change management, and learned the power of an engaged and empowered workforce. She feels blessed to leverage her educational, past work and life experiences to humbly serve our Lippert leaders and team members.
Jen has been married to her husband Jayson for the last twenty years. Together, they are blessed with two beautiful daughters, Isabel and Katelyn, and an adorable puppy named Teddy. They recently moved to Middlebury, Indiana and are enjoying the community, walks on the Pumpkinvine Trail, and a much shorter commute to work. In her spare time, Jen loves to read and attend various sporting and theatre events at the local high and middle school.
John is a Director of Leadership Development, where he serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, a professional development coach to all leaders on the teams he supports, and a leadership trainer throughout the company. He is fueled by his compulsion to help people and teams learn and grow in order to win the right way, every day.
Before coming to Lippert, John compiled over 30 years of practical experience leading and developing people in unique and high consequence contexts as a senior U.S. Army officer, corporate leader, and entrepreneur. In the Army, he served as an infantry officer, leading and training large organizations in preparation for world-wide contingencies. He has had the privilege of leading Soldiers in combat three times. During his most recent combat experience, he led a 900+ person organization in Baghdad that delivered security, economic development, and essential services to over 3 million Iraqis. In his culminating Army assignment, he was the Director of an Army center of excellence that helped the Army adhere to its professional ethic, values, and develop character in its 1.2 million people.
Upon retiring from the Army as a Colonel, John served as a Director of Leadership Development at Thermo Fisher Scientific, a large multinational biotech company, where he was responsible for executive development, talent assessment, and the design and delivery of high potential leader developmental programs. Most recently, he created and ran his own company, providing executive coaching and leadership and organizational development consulting and training to corporations and the Fire Department of New York. He serves on the board of Global Leadership International, a nonprofit organization providing leadership training in emerging and developing countries around the world.
John holds a Master of Science in Education and Leadership Development from Long Island University, a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, and a Bachelor of Science in International Relations from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He has published multiple articles and is the recipient of numerous military awards including the Purple Heart.
John and his wife Lynsey have been married for over 30 years and have four amazing adult sons. John is a student of leadership, loves sports, and is an avid outdoorsman. When he is not pursuing his professional passion of developing leaders, you will find him cheering on one of his favorite teams, in the woods, or on the water.
Kim joined Lippert as the Director of Leadership Development after 7 years of working as a key leader for America’s largest oncology healthcare system. An energizing catalyst, she opens eyes and hearts to the necessary personal and organizational transformations required to thrive – drawing people inward to better serve outward.
Her passion for leadership development was inspired through years as a high-level gymnast and Division I Varsity Diver at the University of Notre Dame. Now, as a corporate athlete, Kim’s own pursuit of self-awareness, balance, and success transformed into a life’s work of helping leaders build awareness, find balance, and achieve their own definition of success. Through the completion of her Master's Degree in Leadership – Coaching for Organizational Learning & Change, Kim found her sweet spot in developing leaders from the front line to the executive through coaching and facilitation.
Kim’s faith and family are the core drivers of her life’s work. She practices internal leadership daily by filling her cup through prayer, exercise, and philanthropy in her church and athletic communities which have supported her own development. With an insatiable desire for learning and adventure, Kim is energized by spending time with her family and friends around the country and exploring unique cultures all over the world.
Mike joined the Lippert Leadership Development team with more than 20 years of intentional individual, team, and leadership development experience in a wide array of contexts, including athletic coaching, entrepreneurship, ministry, school counseling, and nonprofit work.
He has worked closely with many local nonprofit organizations to develop mission-centric growth, staff member performance, volunteer systems, and fundraising strategies. He considers it a privilege to invest in nonprofit communities whom he believes are "the heartbeat of local care and opportunity."
Mike has progressed through different ministry roles pastoring youth, college students (Tabor College), and a missional community whose purpose is to gather and fully support nonprofit organizations serving the marginalized.
Mike serves as Director of Leadership Development for many operations teams. While his influence reaches all levels of positional leadership at Lippert, working with eager, coachable front-line leaders brings him deep satisfaction.
Mike married his high school sweetheart, Mandi, and together they have three children. He loves to read, learn, and podcast all things leadership. He is an avid sports fan and novice participant. His days of baseball, football, and basketball are far behind him, so now golf, tennis, and racquetball fill his competitive spirit. He is an obsessive enthusiast and is driven to positively affect every person within his sphere of influence.
Rhoda joined Lippert as Director of Leadership and Culture Development in February 2021. She currently works with the leadership and senior level teams in the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Germany. She brings over thirteen years of experience within HR, working with leadership development and employee engagement in Global and European roles for multinational companies and with multicultural teams. Before joining Lippert, she worked for nearly four years with Amazon.
Rhoda’s faith, desire to lead a purposeful life, and aspiration to be the change have been the driving forces in her life for many years. She believes that every day is a gift and an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people – be it professionally or personally.
Rhoda has lived and worked in five different countries and travelled to more than fifty countries, and now Stockholm is her home. She speaks five languages, three of which very fluently, and is now trying to learn Dutch. She has lived in The Hague, Netherlands since March 2021 with her husband Bernd of over 28 years, along with their eight-year-old golden retriever boy, Jaden.
Simone joined Lippert in September 2019 as the Leadership Director for Italy, his native country. He started his personal and professional journey at a young age, deepening meditation in India and other countries around the world by following different approaches and cultures. For many years, he has led mindfulness and meditation trainings at various companies, nonprofit organizations, schools and universities.
Simone has worked with companies to improve well-being, productivity, integration and change management with his own consultant firm. He chose to join Lippert when he recognized the perfect fit between his vision to improve people’s lives and Lippert’s vision to be a force for good in the world.
Being the first dedicated cultural individual in Europe, Simone has used the marketing approach of engaging leaders as innovators in the cultural journey to bring awareness to others through activities that achieved results. He graduated with a Master’s in Work Psychology, and has held positions as an Advanced Professional Counselor, Business and Life Coach, and Mental Trainer for sportsmen. Today, he continues to coach executives, sportsmen, entrepreneurs, and every person who is willing to grow and improve performance and life satisfaction.
